We all know that green tea is absolutely good for your health and beauty. Green tea has been used for centuries as medicine and even doctors today recommend consuming green tea regularly because of its incredible health benefits to the human body. People like fitness experts and celebrities drink green tea for weight loss and as anti-aging food to get that perfect sexy body and glowing skin. Who wouldn’t want that, right?
What Are The Health Benefit of Green Tea?
Green tea is rich with antioxidants which can lower the risk of certain cancer such as breast cancer, and etc. It can also help improve your digestion and helps in weight loss especially around the belly area. Overall, green tea is good for your heart, hair, skin, and brain. It is pretty much good for everything.
I’ve started to drink green tea for its many many benefits. I’ve been consuming it for 3 week straight (yeay for me). I’ve never thought that I can make this as a regular habit for me to stick to but alhamdulillah, I manage to drink it every morning after breakfast. I do wonder how many times can you drink green tea per day? And when can you take green tea? So I did some research about it.
What Is The Best Time To Drink Green Tea?
It is best to consume green tea, when:
- After breakfast: This will help prevent dehydration.
- Half an hour before exercise: This is to help you burn your fats during your workout session.
- An hour before or after meals: This is to prevent any fat absorption.
- Throughout the day: As a detox drink to detox your body.
When To Avoid Green Tea:
- On an empty stomach in the morning.
- During or immediately after meals.
- It is advisable to not drink more than 2-3 cups per day.
- Avoid adding milk or sugar in your green tea.
- Do not drink green tea late at night to avoid insomnia.
I would have just drink green tea whenever I feel like to if I haven’t done any research about it so yeah, a little knowledge for everyone if you ever want or currently drinking green tea. If you are consuming green tea for weight loss or beautiful skin, you won’t get an immediate result just by consuming it for a few week or a month. You need to make it as a daily habit for months or maybe years. If you did it accordingly the right way, then I can assure you’ll get the result that you always want.
So let’s make it a habit every morning after an hour of breakfast. I’m consuming to not only for a healthy body or skin, but to challenge myself, as well.
